Pop-Up-Banner_NHMU-5_31_17_001The we call them Vikingsexhibition from Museumspartner in Innsbruck, Austria and the Swedish History Museum in Stockholm, continues its successful tour of North America at the Natural History Museum of Utah, opening on May 27, 2017 under the title Vikings Beyond the Legend.

This will mark the seventh installation of our exhibition in North America, our fifth in the United States, and our fourteenth installation in our world-wide tour which began in May, 2012 at the Drents Museum in Assen, the Netherlands. Our international tour has visited nine countries in the past four years and has seen over 1.5 million visitors.

Similar to one of previous installations, the Museum developed a strong marketing program with striking portraits of realistic Viking era people that will be used for various advertising such as press, transit, etc.. For example, the following images were used on their elevator doors:

Our first version of the exhibition, is currently on display at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science until August 13, 2017, after which it move to the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, Canada, where it will open on November 4, 2017.
