North American Tour ‘Sold Out’!

It is with great pleasure that Museumspartner in Innsbruck, Austria and the Swedish History Museum in Stockholm, co-developers of  the we call them Vikings“, announce that our exhibition has fully booked all of their available North American venues!

Since our North American premiere at the at the Royal BC Museum in Victoria, Canada in May of 2014, this highly successful travelling exhibition will end it’s North American tour in April of 2018 at the at the Royal Ontario  Museum in Toronto, Canada. The entire tour will include 8 cities over this four year period and will use two duplicate travelling exhibition versions, but with different sets of 500 objects. Our second version, after it closes at the Natural History Museum of Utah in Salt Lake City on January 1, 2018, will return to Australia to the Melbourne Museum and will continue to travel ‘down under’. The first version will return to the Swedish History Museum after it closes in Toronto on April 22, 2018. It will have been on the road for 6 years since it opened on May 1, of 2012 at the Drents Museum in Assen, the Netherlands.

At the end of the North American tour in 2018, our two travelling version exhibitions of we call them Vikings” will have visited 15 cities in 9 countries and we expect that 2 million visitors will have seen it!
